Essential duties and responsibilities

 Responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as needed in accordance with Company and Manufacturers' standards.

 Responsible to assist Service Manager in keeping the fleet running during the season.

 Responsible to assist Service Manager, Technicians and Shop Assistants in providing maintenance for motorhomes and shuttle vehicles.

 Responsible to perform maintenance checklists on motorhomes in preparation for each client rental.

 Responsible to assist in opening and closing of business for rental season. This includes such tasks as winterizing motorhomes, preparation of vehicles for rental, storage, and/or sale.

 Responsible to assist detailing and customer service departments in preparing motorhomes for rental.

 Responsible to perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and maintain same during employment.

 Must be at least 25 years of age.

 Must be able to lift approximately 72 pounds.

 Must possess knowledge and the ability to diagnose cause of virtually any vehicle.

 Must be able to speak with clients and present a professional image when working with them in person, or on the phone to resolve service challenges.

 Must be able to clearly describe to clients on the phone, basic trouble shooting instructions and guidance.

 Must be able to pay consistent attention to detail. Extremely high level of accuracy required in connection with vehicle repairs and records.

 Must be able to keep work area, vehicle records and shop information clean, organized and up to date.

 Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.

 Must be willing to work with others in a team environment as needed.

 Must be self-motivated in looking for and finding tasks to perform that contribute to the operation of the business.

 Must punch in and out for the workday, and in and out for your lunch break.

 Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

 Must have own tools.

 Must wear safety glasses while working in the shop.

 Must have consistent and reliable work attendance

 Must be to work on time

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Preferred 2 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance or Technical School.
