Who We Are Seeking: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys interacting with the public, assisting with affordable housing applications, and ensuring smooth coordination of daily operations within the facilities team. A typical workday may include compiling data for grant funding reports, processing housing assistance applications, coordinating inspections, and managing tenant communications. You'll also support the Facilities Director by scheduling meetings, taking minutes, tracking maintenance requests, assisting with procurement, and handling general administrative tasks. Qualifications, Education & Experience:
A minimum of 1 up to 3 years of relevant experience as an administrative professional, providing direct support to leadership and providing customer service.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills; including the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds; establish and maintain cooperative relationships and work successfully as a member of a team.
Excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet sometimes competing deadlines.
Superb verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new software.
Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.
Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
