Specific Duties Performed:
Provide individual psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults of all ages, including but not limited to, family and couples counseling
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessment
Prepare and maintain accurate records of all clinical work & documentation in a timely manner through use of EHR
Work collaboratively with other providers and community agencies as needed for optimal client care
Requirements:
Master’s Degree from an accredited University with a major in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or closely related field
Fully licensed to practice in the State of Alaska
Some flexibility to adjust work schedule to meet client needs
Must pass a background check
The ideal applicant would already be participating in health insurance networks, and we understand that this might not be the case. We are willing to assist you in the enrollment process with BC/BS, Aetna, Tricare/TriWest, etc., as most patients seeking therapy with us are looking for a therapist in a healthcare network.
