Job DescriptionThe Procurement Coordinator will assist with administrative activities managed through collaboration with Procurement, Quality Team, Document Control and Engineering in support of Procurement operations.Responsibilities

Providedirect support for Engineering requisition processing for the COPA Program.

Support Engineering and Procurement departments with the processing of Material Requisitions.

Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, document control, Quality, and vendors.

Attend procurement, requisition, and project meetings.

Create and provide reports to project team

Track and monitor development of requisitions to meet project schedules

Initiate, route, and maintain requisition review cycles

Review requisition packages to verify all redlines have been incorporated

Provide quality checks on requisition packages and verify check sets have been completed and staged for historical retrieval

Administer and electronically distribute specified reports to Clients and/or engineering staff members.

Maintain copies of all documentation in Project folder to be included in Project Closeout procedures.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years industry related experience; specific to Supply Chain activities.

Experience must include Oil & Gas industry specific training and working knowledge.

Active member in supply chain management or related associations preferred.

Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals and reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, Inspectors, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and client.Mathematical Skills:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to read and interpret engineering and design drawings.Computer Skills:Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, word processing software; Excel spreadsheet software; Outlook e-mail software; and any other discipline-specific design or analysis software, as required.Supervisory Responsibilities:No supervisory responsibilities, works independently but reports into the Procurement Group for client / contractual reporting. Works collaboratively with Engineering, Project Management and Quality.Language Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
