Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a UAS Systems Engineer support a customer of ours in Huntsville, AL. This individual will be responsible for interacting with key stakeholders, deriving system requirements from stakeholder needs, and coordinating/planning development and verification activities. Responsibilities include: Identify and manage model objectives by interacting directly with customers/sponsors Develop subsystem and software requirements from higher level system and subsystem requirements and user requirements. Assists project lead with sprint planning, task definition and scope, and identification of project risk. Analyze system requirements and make recommendations on design and development activities. Develop technical documentation to include requirements specifications, system architecture and system design documentation.
Assist in developing and executing test procedures to validate requirements have been met
Skills and Requirements· 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer and strong understanding of all aspects of the Systems Development Lifecycle · Experience with Unmanned Aviation/Aircraft systems · Experience writing technical documentation · Knowledge of software lifecycle · Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a DoD Secret ClearanceCandidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline from an ABET-accredited university nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
