Huntsville, AL, USA | Full Time Overview: JHNA is seeking a System and Integration (S&I) Engineer to support the Army UAS Product Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Roles/Responsibilities:

Provide Technical guidance on system plans, development, test, and integration.

Ability to address compatibility concerns.

Assist and evaluate government and contractor testing.

Provide technical assistance with specifications, requirements verification, design and data analysis, and integration and testing oversight.

Provide engineering, technical guidance on system software, interconnections, and interfaces.

Assist the Government to analyze system concept, system design and interoperability, providing input to, and analysis of, system architectures for the current and future unmanned system variants.

Identify mechanical and electrical functions of the various subsystems that encompass uncrewed systems for the purpose of identifying and supporting operational maintenance requirements, to avoid premature failures, and to recommend improvements as required in support of interface changes to these subsystems.

Support Multi-User Engineering Change Proposal Automated MEARS to support UAS Engineering Change Request (ECR) Process is a plus.

Qualifications Required:

Ten (10) years of relevant work experience.

No less than 5 years of experience in support of the defense industry supporting system engineering and integration efforts.

Understanding of engineering requirements for Uncrewed Aviation Systems.

In depth knowledge of development of system requirements, Concepts of Operation, system engineering processes, acquisition and technical documentation, sensor and information technology solutions, Information Assurance requirements, sensor technologies, and system, cost, and affordability tradeoffs.

Active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (desired)

Technical data review and analysis

Test plan development/Test report review/analysis

Familiarity with Uncrewed Aviation Systems

Understanding of System Integration

Familiarity with the Army acquisition process

Support of SOW/CDRL/Cost Estimate development
