Ensure all technical requirements are properly supported and comply with contractual standards.How the Sr. Aviation Systems Engineer will make an impact:

Primary POC within the Technical Management Division of the Cargo International Office to support the Germany CH47 requirements.

Lead team in the development and approval of technical requirements, with a focus on specifications and military standards.

Interface on a regular basis with the full Cargo Tech staff to ensure tasks are being worked by the correct personnel and that timely and accurate responses are being provided.

Interact as necessary with international customers to ensure requirements and tasks are understood.

Interact regularly with Boeing, as prime contractor, and SRD to ensue technical contractual requirements are clearly defined and being worked within schedule milestones.

Travel as necessary to meetings with the German customer in support of contract compliance.

Fully understand customer technical and programmatic requirements to ensure tasks are successfully completed.

Support technical meetings (SRR’s, PDR, CDR, PMR’s, TIM’s, etc) and planning sessions associated with the development and presentation of technical issues under the purview of Systems Engineering.

Keep accurate and orderly records of all actions and taskings (open and closed) that can be presented to leadership on a regular basis.

Quickly inform technical leadership of any technical problems or issues in executing the duties of this position.

What you'll need to succeed:

Master’s Degree with 10 years or bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of specialized experience as an aviation engineer or aviation analyst.

Experience working with the Government PMO supporting technical meetings (TIM’s, SRR’s, PDR, CDR)

Interaction with SRD and prime contractors on ensuring technical contractual requirements are clearly defined.

Experience research, analyzing, and providing data on component and system technical documents and specification/configurations.

Rotary wing Technical and functional knowledge

Secret Clearance - minimum
