The entire section leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.The Data Engineer (Junior) is a part of a team that will support large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications.The Data Engineer (Junior) Responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include: developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies; and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data. Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security. Design and construct large relational databases. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.This position is located in Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA and is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Top Secret clearance to work the program.This position is contingent upon contract award#divergent
Active Top Secret clearance
Minimum of 1 years’ experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field.
Experience with:
Databricks and Lakehouse architectures
AWS OpenSearch
Experience utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights
Ability to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing
Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms and python
