As a Run the Bank Software Engineering Director for AMG within PNC's Technology organization, you will sit within one of PNC’s technology and innovation hubs. Our technology is a key component to that commitment.The Run the Bank Director is a leader of technology leaders providing roadmaps, strategy and solutions to solve for critical business initiatives including:Establishing and enhancing a Site Reliability Engineering practice with an emphasis on building self-healing/monitoring/alerting/Nonfunctional Requirements/SLA’s/SLO’s/etcEstablishing a technical writing center of excellence that is embedded in the change processPartnering closely with the Site Reliability Center as it relates to incident, problem, and event managementOwning Operational Readiness for change management across AMGOwning Level 3 application and business process supportOther preferred qualifications include:AMTrust and/or MainframeOn Premise Distributed ApplicationsVendor Hosted Distributed ApplicationsPublic and Private Cloud Integrations, preferably experience with AWS and Azure for public cloud and Open Shift container platform for privateEvent Streaming Architectures (Kafka)Data Integrations and Processing (Near Real Time and Batch)Monitoring and Alerting technologies (Service Now, Dynatrace, BigPanda, etc)SDLC tooling (Atlassian Suite)DevOps Pipeline and Engineering (Jenkins, etc)Job Description

Directs all activities and initiatives related to application services for an entire organization or for major clients.

Directs and manages the delivery of large or complex application development projects. Defines strategies and client needs focused on technology development.

Maintains relationships with clients; communicates with IT and business management. Monitors prompt response and support for technical issues.

Ensures high standards and quality of technical work. Directs reviews of tools and technologies for improving performance and reducing costs.

Directs, motivates, develops and manages the performance of the management team and key staff.
