You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Retail Operations Performance and Optimization Executive is responsible for driving and executing strategy, projects, and large-scale initiatives within Retail Sales and Service.Primary Responsibilities
Acts as a conduit between Head of Retail and partners through out the organization to translate, implement, and execute strategy plans
Oversees projects with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring organizational efficiency and profitability
Engages with Branch Network Strategy to identify areas and markets for addition or removal to optimize results with the Retail Bank
Works with finance and applicable partners on business cases for large growth initiatives or cost saving opportunities within the Retail Bank (ex. automation, service, product menu)
Leads and coordinates the Business Review process for the Retail team
Manages the end-to-end process mapping of key retail functions
Works with communications and field leaders to ensure the adoption of large-scale projects and changes through a change management lens and approach
Defines Retail virtual banking strategy encompassing online, mobile, etc.
Identifies new technologies and vendor partners to transform the branch experience and facilitates subsequent implementations
Coordinates with Retail Operations team to ensures soundness in practices and mitigate process/procedural gaps
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
Ten (10) years of experience in financial services at a national or regional bank
Five (5) years of leadership and staff development experience
Preferences
Knowledge of retail banking business
Experience directly supporting executive leadership roles
Skills and Competencies
Ability to drive strategy, large-scale projects, and initiatives
Ability to effectively execute change management
Advanced understanding of banking regulations and compliance
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
