Incumbent is guided by thorough knowledge of plant operations and maintenance methods, techniques, procedures, principles of engineering, applicable governmental codes and regulations, and operation and use of departmental equipment and supplies; knowledge of principles of management, and procedures and policies of the department and facility. $500 Sign On Bonus; $500 Retention Bonus After 6 Months!ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes and controls activities of maintenance department to keep staff engaged in maintaining, repairing, and renovating facilitiesMaintains flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of assigned workload and adherence to standards of quality controlMaintains adequate inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies and initiates requisitions as neededIn the absence of the Director and Assistant Director, assumes full responsibilities of the department, shares weekend duties with the other managers in the departmentMonitors and inspects employee work performance to assure performance standards are maintained through use of computer reportsOrients and trains new employees and provides continuing guidance and on-the-job training to all assigned personnelPrepares performance evaluations for assigned personnelMonitors and coordinates a variety of preventative maintenance and building and property repair and improvement projects performed by vendors and contractors, inspects completed work and approves requests for payment regarding sameServes as a member of the facility's fire response teamQualificationsPrevious supervisory experience, preferably in healthcareMust be knowledgeable in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systemsPrevious experience with computerized work order system highly preferredAbility to meet the needs of the facility and make sound decisions, sometimes under stressExcellent interpersonal skills both written and verbalAssociate degree preferredProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookApply to Crothall today!Crothall is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story (http://www.compass-usa.com/our-story/) Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
