About Us
At Alabama Stone Works, Inc., we’re not your average fabrication shop. We build more than countertops—we build trust, speed, and reliability into every square foot of stone that enters and exits our doors. Our team is small, sharp, and scrappy. We deliver fast, clean, and correct, every time.
We believe in:
Constant improvement (without the fluff)
Building strong systems that outlast individuals
Making hard work feel like smart work
Zero drama, high accountability, and mutual respect
The Role
You will be the air traffic controller for stone slabs, project schedules, and purchasing flows. This role blends project management, production planning, and inventory control. Your mission is simple: keep jobs moving with zero stalls and no rework.
You’ll:
Own the schedule: from measure to layout approval to fabrication to install
Track material usage and maintain safety stock
Order slabs, sinks, and hardware with precision (timing and cost matter)
Use tools like Moraware Systemize and Slab Smith to run the job board like a general commanding an army
Communicate clearly and proactively with sales, CAD, fab, and install
Track actual vs estimated time at every step to highlight wins and bottlenecks
Spot problems before they hit the floor—and solve them
Tools You’ll Use
Moraware Systemize
Slab Smith
QuickBooks (for invoice/purchasing coordination)
Excel, Word, Slack, Discord
Experience in any of these is a huge plus.
What Winning Looks Like
Jobs flow from measure to install without stoppages
Materials are on-hand when needed—never late, never sitting too long
Customers get installed faster, and crews work more efficiently
Every project is tracked and measured for speed and quality
Issues are solved at the source, not delayed or handed off
You Might Be a Fit If

You hate chaos and always see the process behind the problem
You’re cool under pressure and don’t need handholding
