Description: Forklift OperatorWill be working in the warehouse in a reach lift picking orders for shipment. no KPIS in place but they are starting to track time to pick orders. Looking for motivated and skilled reach truck operators. Candidates considering this role will need to have stand up forklift experience prior on the reach truck. Will be in food manufacturing facility making meats/sausages.Shifts Available:7:00am-3:30pmNeed to be ok with OT, 1-2 hours each day and up to 5 hours on Saturday. Saturday OT will be communicated in advance and is usually slated for inventory days once a month.Essential Duties:
Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places
Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Ensure orders are processed in accordance with our customer service standards;
Transporting all products and materials
Verify products, quantities, and order numbers correctly
Move freight safety throughout the warehouse by reach truck/receiving
Other tasks as assigned
