About the Role:As a Housing Specialist in our Consumer Support Services industry, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and families find safe and affordable housing. You will be responsible for assessing clients' housing needs, identifying available resources, and providing guidance and support throughout the housing search process. Your work will directly impact the lives of those in need, and you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

Experience working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders

Knowledge of local housing resources and rental assistance programs

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Experience with housing advocacy and policy

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' housing needs and preferences

Identify and connect clients with available housing resources, including rental assistance programs and affordable housing options

Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the housing search process

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress

Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to expand housing resources and improve outcomes for clients

Skills:As a Housing Specialist, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and community partners. You will also utilize your knowledge of local housing resources and rental assistance programs to connect clients with the best available options. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical in ensuring that clients receive the support they need. Additionally, your proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management will help you maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
