Network Field Technicians required (Boston MA)
Network Field Technicians
Our company is currently seeking for a Network Field Technicians in the New England, who are cabling infrastructure certified, and/or 5 years of field experience in a wide range of technical areas. Individuals must be reliable, dependable, have strong communication skills, and professionalism. Business casual appearance and reliable transportation required to service clients and to reach assigned locations.
Technicians must be knowledgeable of cabling infrastructure (data, voice, coaxial cable and
others) as well as be able to pull, troubleshoot, terminate wiring, and perform other related tasks.
She/he will have knowledge of telephony systems (PBX, VoIP, etc.), as well as basic knowledge
of network set-up and operation. Tech will be required to "rack and stack" network equipment as
well as to connect equipment to station cabling.
Cabling Cat5e/6/7A certified, Network+, Fiber terminations skills, as well Audio and Video
experience plus
Ability to work both independently and in a team
EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years working experience in a professional setting is relevant for this position with
networking equipment
GENERAL TOOLS /REQUIREMENTS:
Punch down Tool with 66/110 blades
Set of screw drivers and Philips screw drivers
Tone generator
Side cutters
Cordless drill (18 volt+)
Butt-set
Network cat5e/cat6 tester
RJ45/RJ11 crimp tool
Network and telephone standard tools
Laptop with Microsoft Windows 7 or 8
Cisco Console Cable
Radio shack USB to Serial or equivalent
Smart Phone / with hot spot or air card
Console and technical Apps (putty, google drive and more)
Have a valid Driver's License
Able to pass Background check, MVR and drug-screen.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday
Pay rate = $25.00 per hour plus bonus.
