Waltham based IT consulting/Managed Service Provider is looking for a full time Desktop Support/Network Technician to handle incoming calls from our clients and/or visit clients as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
Recommend hardware and software improvements
Track customer issues and resolutions
This position is mostly in the office in Waltham, MA
Qualifications:
1- Proficiency at desktop, server, and network support – should have complete understanding of firewalls, servers, networks, and desktops.
2- Ability to communicate effectively, follow procedures, and show up on time every day.
3- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
4- Knowledge of VMware virtualization, office 365, Active Directory, VPN, is a plus but not required.
5- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
