It all begins with you.Audit Services conducts audits and reports the results of our work to the Audit & Examinations Committee of the Board of Directors. We provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services delivered through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, Audit helps the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.Wells Fargo Audit Services (WFAS) has an opening for a Senior Audit Manager on the Corporate Risk Audit team. This position will serve as one of the subject matter experts primarily covering the Market Risk across Wells Fargo and will also support the broader Corporate Risk coverage model. The Senior Audit Manager position will require a thorough knowledge of market risk management and how these disciplines interact with Capital Markets areas.A Senior Audit Manager at Wells Fargo supports the Audit Director in formulating and executing a successful multi-year coverage strategy for a defined portion of the company, often encompassing multiple business units. To achieve this, they maintain a strong understanding of the business’ historical, current and future operations, including the diverse set of associated risks and control structures. Senior Audit Managers must also maintain knowledge of industry events, emerging risks, and other relevant subject matter, which requires close relationship management with both business partners and their peers in the risk community. Senior Audit Managers are expected to lead and take an active role in regulator discussions and exams, including the FRB, SEC, FDIC, OCC, and FINRA, and ensure that coverage addresses regulator focus areas.The Senior Audit Manager is a senior member of a diverse virtual team, ranging from experienced resources to college interns and associates. Their supervision will include providing on the job training, managing role assignments, audit plan, regulator requests and delivering relevant feedback that increases team members’ proficiency and prepares them for future growth. While Senior Audit Managers work with their auditors-in-charge and audit managers to execute on coverage strategies, they must supervise key activities such as business partner interactions, establishing scope, managing deadlines, maintaining documentation, raising issues and writing final reports. Senior Audit Managers should have strong critical thinking, project management, scope and audit coverage strategy vision, and communication skills. These responsibilities will apply to multiple concurrent projects.Senior Audit Managers are also responsible for numerous ad-hoc projects throughout the year. This may include preparing presentations for company executives. It will also include internal initiatives to help strengthen their team and the overall department.As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: audit, control testing, control and risk identification, or audit analysis

2+ years of leadership or management experience

Desired Qualifications:

Audit experience at a large financial institution or auditing company.

A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration

Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation

Leadership experience for professional auditors, risk management, or project leadership professionals

Solid knowledge and understanding of audit methodologies and tools that support audit processes

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
