Seeking for a Superintendent or Foreman to supervise ground up commercial construction projects in west Maui.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure jobsite is opened up and secured each day
- Maintain onsite safety measures for craftspeople and the public
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with construction documents (reading of plans and specifications)
- Work with project manager to generate daily and overall schedules and provide management of budget
- Work with local agencies and 3rd party consultants to coordinate inspections
- Coordinate with subcontractors / vendors and onsite craftspeople
- Positively and effectively lead a crew to achieve a given activity or common goal
- Conduct onsite safety and coordination meetings
- Communicate clearly with project manager, subcontractors and the Client alike
- Always promotes the highest level of professionalism and ethics
