Description: Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking qualified candidates to join the Modeling and Simulations Contract Framework and Tools (MASC-F) program. The selected candidate will serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the MASC-F program. The MASC-F program supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and it's intended uses. This includes but it is not limited the following categories; Concept Evaluation, Developmental Engineering, Testing and Verification, Assessment, Training, and Operational Support.Selected candidate will support in the following areas. Transition the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) development and sustainment from the current contract to the MASC-F contract. Modify, enhance, develop, and sustain of the MDA Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) to meet MDA's evolving M&S requirements. Maintain and evolve the OSF architecture and external interfaces. Develop, modify and enhance other BMDS tools as requiredThe RTE facilitates Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution. The RTE helps assure value delivery, escalates team impediments, manages risk, and drives continual improvement. The RTE helps adapt Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to the organization, standardizing and documenting practices. This include but are not limited to the following practices: Plan Program Increment (PI) as part of the ART and executes ART based on PI objectives Coaches, mentors, and fosters collaboration throughout ART Acts as execution lead, closely partnering with the Product Manager and Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) Establishes cadence and drives ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt Workshop, Innovation and Sprint Planning Works with PPM to drive the definition and refinement of the program backlog Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to Scrum teams and Scrum Masters in the ART Ensures cross-value stream coordination and collaboration Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders Facilitates alignment between the program team and other communities including other Scrum teams Foster a team collaborative environment breaking down silos between groups and contributes to the Agile community through participation in the internal Agile Practice Area and Scrum Master forums Develop, coach, and mentor team members to advance their skills Work cross-functionally to align strategy, methodology and executionBasic Qualifications: 5 years of combined experience working with Open Splice 2 years of combined experience working with SAFe Program Layer 2 years of combined experience working with SAFe theories and methodologies involved 5 years of combined experience with BMDS element representations 3 years of combined experience with integrating DIS/HLA/DDS protocols Security+ Certified, or able to obtain Security+ Certification before start 5 years of combined experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) 8 years of combined experience in development of model elements, DIS/HLA protocols.Desired Skills:Active TS clearance or active Secret with the ability to obtain TS.Certified SAFe AgilistCertified CAM3 years of experience working with Linux/Redhat 6.x, 7.xFamiliarity with the following Agile Roles and processes: managing multiple Scrum teams, Product Owner, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Kanban/Software Development LifecycleAble to communicate complex concepts and issues effectively to teams, management and stakeholder2 years of combined experience with software development Program Lifecycle Management or Agile.2 Experience handling budgets at a program level5 Experience Developing / integration of engineering tools.DevOpsContinuous IntegrationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
