Description: Tasks include performing solid modeling using Creo 2.0 and creating associated drawings to build/procure required hardware.Candidate shall develop and maintain product designs and/or specifications associated with hardware. Candidate shall review requirements from various sources (dynamics, stress, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure that applicable requirements are flowed into the detailed design of the product. Candidate shall be able to effectively interact with engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers and drive the team to deliver hardware that meets requirements within applicable cost and schedule constraints.Basic Qualifications:BSME or similar from an accredited university.-Solid understanding of mechanical engineering design principles-Experience of structure design and/or production.-Experience of mechanical design and/or production.-Experience and familiarity of ground support equipment design and hardware delivery requirements.Desired Skills:Excellent closure skills.Demonstrated organizational skills.Experience designing welded structures.Experience working with manufacturing and/or outside suppliers.2 years minimum of structural design, fabrication, and/or testing experience.2 years minimum CREO experience/familiarity.2 years minimum experience with releasing drawings in EPDMBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
