Medical courier company is hiring
We are looking for an experienced courier to work a route 6 days a week, and availability to pick up occasional on-call pick ups.
This courier will drive a 4.5-5 hour shift Mon-Fri starting at 11AM-3:30 PM. This route will start in Cheyenne, go to Laramie, back to Cheyenne and then a quick 2 hour route around town. Also a short route on Sundays from 8AM-11:30AM
Total of approx 25-27 hours per week.
The ideal candidate would also be available to pick up unexpected on-calls in Cheyenne before the route starts at 11AM and possibly after the route is over at 3:30.
Previous courier experience not required, but highly desired for this position.
Previous barcode scanning experience desired for this position
Courier will drive a company vehicle, all gas and upkeep will be taken care of by the company.
Applicants will also need to have a clean driving record (no DUI or DWAI) with a current MVR, proof of current insurance, and will also need to pass a drug test for all drugs illegal under federal law, as well as a background check.
This Position will start at 14 an hour.
Other driver requirements:
Knowledge on how to use smartphone functions
Comfortable using handheld barcode scanning technology devices
Living locally in Cheyenne area
Experience with winter driving conditions.
Because we courier in hospitals and health clinics, drivers may be required to have or obtain flu vaccination that they will be reimbursed for.
