We are seeking skilled Apprentice, Journeymen, Foreman and Lead Foreman with ceiling acoustics installation experience to join our Northern Colorado branch (from Ft. Collins through Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming). Apprentice Responsibilities:

Basic installer of wire, grid, and acoustical tile for suspended ceilings following Company policy, industry standards, and manufacturers' installation guidelines.

Provide customer service to our internal and external customers at all times.

Observe and practice the Company’s safety procedures at all times.

Observe and practice the Company’s policies and procedures at all times, including hours of operation.

Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail.

Provide customer service to our internal and external customers at all times.

Maintain a clean work area, clear of debris or other safety hazards at all times.

Complete work as directed by the Journeymen, Lead, and Superintendent. Contact these individuals with any Field Supervisor and/or General Superintendent on all discrepancies, questions, or concerns about the project.

Maintain Company equipment and tools. Utilize equipment and tools only as they were intended to be used. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools as required.

Protect Company material, equipment, tools and supplies on job sites, transport and in storage.

Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, and varying schedules.

Attendance, punctuality and reliability is an essential responsibility.

Maintain records of tasks and material quantities as may be required.

Apprentice Qualifications:

Ability to follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail.

Valid Driver License.

Reliable transportation.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Journeyman Responsibilities:

Install wire, grid, and acoustical tile for suspended ceilings following company policy, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Accurately measure dimensions for material take-off and selection.

Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors for proper layout and installation.

Utilize appropriate tools to build or repair structural components using various materials.

Join materials securely using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.

Install all types of ceiling grid systems and inspect surfaces for plumb and level.

Hang or mechanically fasten support wires for acoustical ceiling grid from building structure.

Cut tiles for fixtures and borders and insert tiles into supporting framework.

Erect scaffolding as needed.

Observe and practice company safety procedures and policies.

Read plans, specifications, and scope of work for projects, and complete work as described.

Assist in training Apprentices and Journeymen in installations, safe work habits, and company policies.

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on company equipment and tools.

Protect company material, equipment, tools, and supplies on job sites, during transport, and in storage.

Work overtime including nights and weekends as required.

Maintain records of tasks and material quantities and complete all paperwork in a timely manner.

Journeyman Qualifications:

Three years of experience as an Apprentice in commercial suspended ceiling installation.

Excellent understanding and practical experience in installing suspended ceilings.

Knowledge and experience working with carpentry tools and building materials.

Ability to train direct reports in the installation of suspended ceilings.

Foreman Responsibilities:

Expert installer of all types of acoustical and specialty ceilings following Company policy, industry standards and manufacturers installation guidelines.

Train, support, and discipline Journeymen and Apprentices to be able to complete assigned jobs within plan.

Plan projects with field installers to complete projects on time and under budget while meeting customer and Company quality expectations.

Support Journeymen and Apprentices in dealing with customers and their representatives.

Read plans and scope of work for projects. Complete work as described on the plans and in the scope of work. Contact supervisor on all discrepancies, questions, or concerns about projects.

Evaluate and coach ways to improve performance.

Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail at all times.

Perform job site inspections before and after all jobs.

Enforce safety policies and practices.

Continuously train and evaluate assigned crew in safety, proper installation techniques and equipment maintenance while abiding by Company policies and procedures.

Measure and document employee productivity. Communicate to supervisor on daily progress.

Collect and review weekly time cards of the assigned crew and ensure time cards are submitted on time.

Perform field installation work as may be required.

Perform preventive maintenance on Company equipment and tools.

Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, and varying work schedules.

Provide customer service to our internal and external customers at all times.

Manage multiple jobs and direct reports.

Attendance, punctuality, and reliability is an essential responsibility.

Foreman Qualifications:

Three or more years of experience as a Journeyman.

Excellent understanding and practical experience in installing suspended ceilings.

Excellent punctuality and reliability.

Ability and knowledge to train direct reports in the installation of suspended ceilings.

Ability to manage a job with multiple direct reports.

Ability to read, interpret, and explain plans.

Ability to communicate assignments in English to direct reports.

Ability to manage and control costs so that all jobs assigned meet or exceed planned budget goals.

Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, and varying work schedules.

Able to pass a background check and be able to work at schools, airports and government buildings or any other project requiring security and background clearances.

Lead Foreman Responsibilities:

Provide direct customer service to our internal and external customers at all times.

Enforce safety policies and practices.

Schedule manpower for your jobs throughout the course of the project.

Work with the Superintendent to schedule additional manpower necessary to complete the project on schedule.

Check and approve field staff hours worked and labor coding on your project daily in WorkMax.

Establish production goals for your team and track them daily to ensure projects are built on budget.

Manage and schedule all materials, fasteners, and equipment by direct communication with the office operations team.

Submit receipts each week for all purchases made on company credit card.

Attend Construction Review Meetings as requested.

Install all products and services following Company policy, industry standards and manufacturers installation guidelines.

Provide VIF dimensions on projects that is necessary.

Read plans, specifications, and scope of work for projects. Complete work as described on the plans and in the scope of work. Contact the Superintendent on all discrepancies, questions, or concerns about the project.

Manage all AWA requests by coordinating with the site Superintendent and turning them into the office operations team on time.

Perform job site inspections before and after all jobs.

Train, support, and discipline Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices to be able to complete assigned jobs within plan.

Plan projects with crew members to complete projects on time and under budget meeting customer and Company quality expectations.

Support assigned Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices in dealing with customers and their representatives.

Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail at all times.

Continuously train and evaluate assigned crew in safety, proper installation techniques, and equipment maintenance while abiding by Company policies and procedures.

Perform preventative maintenance on Company equipment and tools and teach others to assist.

Lead Foreman Qualifications:

Five (5) years of experience as a Foreman in suspended ceiling installations.

Excellent understanding and practical experience in installing suspended ceilings.

Excellent punctuality and reliability.

Ability and knowledge to train direct reports in the installation of suspended ceilings.

Ability to manage a job with three or more direct reports.

Ability to read, interpret, and explain plans to direct reports.

Ability to communicate assignments in English to direct reports.

Ability to manage and control direct reports so that all jobs assigned meet or exceed planned budget goals.

Ability to work overtime including nights, weekends, and varying work schedules.

Able to pass a background check and be able to work at schools, airports, government buildings and any other projects requiring security and background clearances.
