Job Title: Waste Management Professional at Trihydro Corporation

Location: Rawlins, Wyoming

Job Summary:

As a Waste Management Professional, you’ll gain in-depth experience in regulatory compliance, waste tracking, and chemical data management - all essential skills for environmental consulting. Through exposure to complex environmental challenges and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll develop valuable expertise in environmental assessment and waste minimization. Additionally, our team provides access to professional development resources, mentorship from experienced environmental consultants, and the opportunity to participate in advanced environmental projects over time.

This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week at an industrial facility and involves a blend of project coordination, communication, and problem-solving. Duties involve a mix of desk work and in-the-field activities, providing a holistic range of work experience. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments.

Coordinate and track wash pad operations.

Manage and sample drums and waste containers when filled.

Track waste generation dates and shipment timelines; verify manifests are signed and returned within regulatory guidelines.

Submit exception reports as needed

Generate draft waste shipment profiles for client signature.

Assist with chemical inventory data management.

Landfill oversight and inspection, excavation soil management, and scrap metal management.

Collect and ship waste characterization samples.

Monitor project progress and take corrective action as needed.

Communicate with multiple departments and contractors.

Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record and current driver’s license. 

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.

Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, environmental science, or similar.

Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with word and excel.

Technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.

A basic mechanical aptitude and an independent work ethic.
