Under the direction of the Corporate Safety and Risk Management Department and the Director of Transportation and Logistics, implements and monitors general safety policies and procedures to be followed by location personnel to ensure compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Ad- ministration (OSHA) rules and regulations.Job Description Primary Location:Worland, WyomingESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Orders and maintains safety supplies.

Ensure compliance with the Department of Transportation.

Trains and guides all local departments on use of equipment, hazardous material, fire prevention and safety programs.

Coordinates inspections at facilities and operations to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards and recommends and tracks corrective or preventative measures where indicated.

Assists General Manager in providing proper accident notification.

Assists management and the Safety Committee in compiling and submitting accident reports as required by Corporate Safety and Risk Management Department.

Updates and maintains safety publications and regulations.

Manage the EDL system for drivers and review and ensure CDL of drivers.

Conduct drivers tests to ensure proper conduction of drivers before hiring.

Prepares and distributes safety informational and promotional material for display within the location.

Maintains local safety files and records.

Uses JD Edwards to manage day-to-day operations and compliance.

Supports HR activities in office relative to driver files.

Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

As an additional function to employee’s primary job function, facilitates execution of corporate Safety and Risk Management program at the local facility level.
