Gathers and audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment with General Ledger coding.
Assists in processing fixed asset transactions.
Possess customer service skills to communicate with employees and suppliers to solve problems and gain information.
Reconciles general ledger accounts. Extracts general ledger information. Compiles cost reports and revenue and balance sheets.
Reconciles bank statements.
Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.
Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.
Assists in inventory counts and reconciliation, including occasional travel to warehouse locations.
Assists in year-end closings.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThe schedule is 8am to 5pm M-F, Occasional Saturdays
