Job Duties:
- Update and keep current accounting policies and procedures
- Respond promptly to billing issues
- Resolve billing issues by working with accounts receivable and sales.
- Review invoices and Purchase Order (PO) for accuracy and resolve discrepancies; match the appropriate POs: create and enter invoices into customer web-based portals
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Communicate and escalate issues as appropriate
- Complete month end billing process, including invoicing and reporting
- Special projects and other accounting related duties as requested
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
- Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from two-year or technical school; OR 5 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new methods, processes, and system changes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
