Human Resources Specialist
As a Human Resources Specialist in the U.S. Army, your primary goal is to assist in the retention, career advancement, and overall career development of Soldiers within your assigned unit. A human resource specialist directly facilitates unit transfers, travel orders, and salary-related workflows to ensure timely adjudication of all administrative functions.

Core Responsibilities:
- Files requisite documents to record the promotion of individual Soldiers.
- Processes disciplinary records for Soldiers.
- Evaluates Soldiers’ career goals and qualifications for advanced assignments
- Processes reassignment and transfer requests.
- Process career classification or career reclassification actions.
- Process applications for OCS, warrant officer flight training, or other training.
- Prepares official military orders.
Basic Qualifications:
- Age - 17-34 years old
- Education - Current Senior in High School (HS), HS Diploma, GED, or higher
- Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
Additional Requirements:
- Attend Basic and advanced training (Paid)
- Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
- Submit to background and medical screening
