DEPARTMENT: Kitchen
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
HOURS: 84 hrs/week for 6 weeks followed by 2 weeks unpaid leave
OVERTIME: Following the completion of 40 hours within the work week
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Kitchen I is ensure organization and cleanliness of a fully functioning kitchen and dining hall atmosphere while providing excellent customer service to guests.
DUTIES:
- Confirm that all dishes and flatware are washed, sorted and stored in an efficient manner.
- Uphold dining room cleanliness and esthetics through cleaning, sanitizing and trash removal.
- Replenish dining room napkins, condiments, coffee and soda as needed.
- Assist the Chefs and Baker in stock logistics.
- Monitor kitchen deliveries.
- Assist all kitchen staff in ad hoc kitchen and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and food services regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Kitchen experience preferred.
- Hardworking, Self Motivated individual
- Dishwashing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long durations of time.
- Must meet pre-hire background check and urinalysis standards.
- Must provide transportation to and from facility.
