DescriptionMaintains ink room responsibilities and able to produce quality product for the press department by performing the following duties. This position works rotating 12 hour rotating shifts; shifts subject to change based on business need.Essential Duties and TasksKnows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.Maintains design changes from Graphics Department.Creates files for designs and updates changes to current files.Schedules jobs in IBLEND.Follows and priorities jobs on press schedule.Produces ink and performs quality checks.Troubleshoots ink problems on the presses.Cleans ink area and puts new products away.Fill in as Press Assistant as needed.Fill in for Ink Mixer team leader as needed.Consistently at work and on time.Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.Other duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
