CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift - Watertown, WI

Position Title: CNC MachinistReports To: Production SupervisorOperate one of several machines, including but not limited to CNC lathes, or CNC machining centers for production of products including shafts, wheels, pinions/gears, drums, sheaves, and related machined crane components. Principal Responsibilities:CNC lathe, or CNC machining centers to make required machining operationsAbility to read and interpret part drawings to ensure proper dimensions of machined specificationsNotes, reports, and corrects variations in routing sequenceKeeps supervisors aware of pertinent issues, information, etc. warranting supervisors knowledge, action and/or resolution.Ensures proper, accurate records, files, databases, etc. are maintained, as required, within areas of responsibility.Maintain tooling.Ensure proper inspection, i.e. first piece inspection(s) are performed and makes adjustments as required.Perform functions in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.Ensure work area is kept clean and safe.Perform preventative maintenance.Maintains a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, and customer focused attitude.Other duties may be assigned.Setup capabilities is a plus.
