This full-time, permanent Certified NETA or NICET Field Technician opportunity is at a small electrical power solution provider to Fortune 500 companies. The successful candidate's duties will include:

Reading and understanding electrical drawings
Inspecting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformers
Starting up and commissioning electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformers
Operate infrared thermography cameras
Documenting detailed reports upon completion

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

NETA or NICET Certification
An engineering degree
Two years of testing and evaluating low, medium and high voltage electrical power systems
Ability to travel up to 30% (usually Monday through Thursday on site and home Friday) for field service work
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
