Job Title: BuyerJob DescriptionAssist sales with material pricing and availability for customer quote requests. Generate requests for quotations, negotiate with and select suppliers. Review current inventory levels and project timelines, check and confirm supplier confirmations with purchase orders, handle and reconcile receiving and invoice issues, and coordinate and reconcile supplier issues. Work with suppliers and/or freight carriers to ensure on-time delivery, proactively identify, communicate, and assist with resolving material issues. Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Utilize ERP systems to perform inventory analysis and help oversee inventory levels, work in progress, and month-end activities.
Report on capacity planning, base inventory management, supplier replenishment, and procurement activities.
Report on supplier performance and key related indicators.
Maintain and develop partnerships with suppliers through effective negotiation.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred - certification in supply management or a two-year degree or bachelor's degree in materials management or production operations
Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
Team player willing to perform additional tasks as necessary
Strong project management, time management, and analytical skills
Ability to read and properly interpret CAD drawings
Maintain regular and punctual attendance with physical presence in the workplace
Proficient in Microsoft products
Prior experience with ERP software is a plus
