As a Sr. Market Mining Sales Support Consultant, you will develop and coordinate strategy, plans, cost, and technical input for predominantly Hydraulic Mining Shovel, Dragline and Electric Rope Shovel aftermarket machine maintenance and upgrade proposals. You will also provide project management support related to operations, procurement, design, engineering, and business resources.What you will do:

Understand, evaluate, and influence customer requirements and specifications to best deliver solutions for the customer’s needs.

Develop relationships and collaborate with engineering, marketing, purchasing, operations, dealers, customers, and suppliers.

Mentor, coach, and develop others in the Hydraulic Mining Shovel, Electric Rope Shovel and Dragline product value streams.

Develop strategy, plans, costs, and coordinate technical input for highly complex bids/proposals.

Implement/manage project plans.

Support process improvement initiatives through lean methodologies.

Maintain knowledge of new techniques, services, and solutions.

Perform process maintenance.

Bachelor’s degree or 9 to 12 years of progressive experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or field support of large mining products.

2 + years’ experience & understanding of Electric Rope Shovels, Hydraulic Mining Shovels, or Dragline products, applications, systems, and parts.

Fluent in English

Top Candidates will also have:

5 to 10 years prior experience in field assignments

Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.

Factory Managed Process familiarity

Able to work independently and to communicate effectively with others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers.

Demonstrated ability to work on complex assignments.

Full understanding of Electric Rope Shovel, Hydraulic Mining Shovel, or Dragline products, applications, systems, and parts.

Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited University
