JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible the development, design, and
implementation of optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes, and
methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards;
develop and optimize continuous production and manufacturing processes
to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization;
coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products; develop
process control plans; perform capability studies, design of experiments
and FMEA; conduct PQ2 and SHOT PARAMETERS calculations; apply LEAN
Manufacturing methodology/tools to increase area productivity, including
SMED, KANBAN, POKA YOKE, and 5S's; perform safety process risk
assessments at die cast and 2nd Ops; collect production data and apply
standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze and document;
conduct time studies and cycle time reviews; launch and follow up on
process and product engineering changes; coordinate all activities
related to process control and continuous improvement for the entire
manufacturing process from melt through cast operations; create and
maintain all Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis documentation for
products; conduct annual RPN reduction reviews for all current programs,
and improve linkage between Improvement Plans, PFMEA, Control Plans and
Operator work instructions; utilize and apply knowledge of 5 Why, PFMEA,
Minitab, Gage R&R, APQP, DVP&R, SolidWorks, LEAN Manufacturing
methodologies, Kaizen, High Pressure Die Casting Theory, DMAIC, GD&T,
Process Control Charts, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, Fishbone Diagram, Six Sigma
Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, AIAG Core Tools, QRQC, CQI-27
Casting System Assessment, VSM, Fanuc Programing software, Problem
Solving, Fondarex Vacuum System, Shot Trace control, Die Casting
Simulation, and Process audit to perform duties; apply knowledge of
statistical techniques and data collection/analysis for problem
resolution; recommend changes and upgrades to equipment, work methods,
or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency; analyze both
internal and external non-conforming products in order to define the
root cause of defects, and propose and implement the necessary
corrective and/or preventative actions; issue tests for corrective and
preventative actions, new material trials, and continuous improvements;
analyze test results, machine tool life and capability data, to look for
optimal performance opportunities; support the utilization of resources
including labor, energy and raw materials; and ensure engineering
compliance with HSE policies, ISO 14001 standards and additional EMS

Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic
Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent
foreign degree). Training: None Experience: Two (2) years in the
position above, as a Die Casting Process Engineer, as a Continuous
Improvement Engineer, as a Project Development Die Cast Engineer, or in
a related occupation. Other Requirements: Experience must include two
(2) years use of all the following: Six Sigma Methodologies, Root Cause
Analysis, AIAG Core Tools, QRQC, CQI-27 Casting System Assessment, VSM,
Fanuc Programing software, Problem Solving, Fondarex Vacuum System, Shot
Trace control, Die Casting Simulation, and Process audit. Will also
accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or
experience. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience
must include two (2) years use of all the following: Six Sigma
