Engineering Assistant

Description:The Engineering Assistant is responsible for providing support to the engineering team. The engineering assistant reports to the Special Projects Manager as instructed by the Engineering Director. Creation of new parts in the MRP or accounting software system. Manage part logistics and supply chain. Enter, update, and maintain manufacturing data for new and legacy parts. Create part diagrams. Find and verify part substitutions. Ensure best possible price point for parts. Coordinate assembly of product and manufacturing. Assemble and test products as needed to meet shipping demands. Create sales order confirmations and manage sales orders. Plan Work in Progress, organize parts for Manufacturing Build. Package and ship product. Troubleshoot Manufacturing defects and service returns. Follow-up on service RMAs and warranty repairs.Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related

Experience with or the ability to learn Microsoft Office 265 and Microsoft Teams

Ability to work closely with all ACI business units

Detail oriented and focused on quality control

Team oriented and supportive of company policies and procedures

Experience with AutoCAD a plus, not required.
