Our mushroom farm is looking for friendly, outgoing team members to join us for the 2025 outdoor farmers market season! If you love local food and enjoy connecting with people, this could be a great fit for you. No direct sales experience required—we provide paid, hands-on training at the market.
We’ve been farming since 1976 and operate year-round, growing organic mushrooms indoors and seasonal vegetables in our outdoor 10 acre garden. Our food is grown without chemicals or pesticides, and we produce a variety of handcrafted, small-batch specialty foods. We sell at 30+ farmers markets per week across Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
We're Hiring for the Following Positions:
Farmers Market Lead: You'll be responsible for running a farmers market solo or leading a larger market with additional salespeople on your team. Your job will start and end at our Wisconsin farm (in Burlington, WI) and and you'll be responsible for loading/unloading the vehicle, driving to/from market, setting up and breaking down the market, running the market operations, handling cash, and completing/submitting inventory reports. You must have a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Some people work one market per week others work 4 per week. We are open to part-time or full-time commitment in terms of number of markets you work but you must be willing to commit to a full market season (May/June through end of October) and be there every week, rain or shine.
Market Support: You will primarily work at our farm warehouse where you will receive orders, perform inventory, pre-set farmers market setups, maintain vehicles, maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, and other activities. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
