Job Title: Production SchedulerJob Summary:The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure that manufacturing processes meet customer delivery requirements and optimize the company’s productive capacity. This role involves coordinating with various departments, monitoring production progress, and making adjustments as necessary to address any issues or delays.Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.
Work closely with production, sales, and purchasing teams to develop and adjust schedules to meet production goals.
Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
Oversee the production process, generate routine production reports, and resolve any potential delays.
Update production schedules to include changes, availability of raw materials, and capacity constraints.
Ensure that all necessary resources, including labor, materials, and machinery, are available for the production process.
Identify and address any issues that might impact the production schedule and implement corrective actions.
Communicate with management and other stakeholders about the status of production schedules and any potential issues.
Optimize production operations for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Production Scheduler, Planner, or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
:Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
