Description We are seeking a Medical Records Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the health care industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing patient records in accordance with legal requirements, ensuring the accuracy of patient and medical data.Responsibilities: Efficiently process and maintain medical records in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. Utilize software applications such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel. Create and manage charts and graphs to present relevant medical data effectively. Ensure the confidentiality of all patient records and information. Carry out data entry tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Support clinical trial operations by managing and organizing relevant data. Adhere to compliance standards in all tasks, ensuring all records meet legal and health requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Regularly update and retrieve medical records as required. Collaborate with health professionals, ensuring they have access to accurate patient records. Requirements Proficient in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel Familiar with creating charts and graphs for data visualization Previous experience in Clinical Trial Operations Understanding of compliance procedures and regulations in the medical field Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive medical records Strong data entry skills with attention to detail Experience in handling electronic health records Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High level of accuracy and attention to detail Familiarity with medical terminology and coding is preferred Knowledge of regulations and standards related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
