The intern will work with a team of developers to build or mature applications that meet business requirements. The team is responsible for testing and debugging applications, as well as documenting application code and processes. The objective of this role will be to further your insight within the discipline and utilize your academic knowledge gained in school to help understand the professional business IT field.The Emerging Technology / ServiceNow team supports all Oshkosh Segments and Departments to build Business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, Automate, Virtual Agent) and ServiceNow. Duties will provide exposure to Data Management, Systems Development, Business Analysis, Testing, Project Management, Cyber Security, Service Desk, and Technical Analysis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Provide day-to-day application support
Learn to identify, analyze, and apply information technology business practices to support strategic business process and plans.

Perform activities accordingly to project plans and schedule.
YOUR IMPACTAs an Emerging Technology & Low-Code Developer Intern, you will:
Collaborate with a team of developers to design, develop, and implement custom business applications using low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow).
Assist in testing, debugging, and optimizing applications to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.
Document application processes and provide support during the integration and deployment phases.
Explore and stay up to date with the latest industry trends in emerging technology (AI, automation, etc.).
Participate in cross-functional IT initiatives, providing exposure to areas such as data management, cybersecurity, project management, and business analysis.
Support the team in day-to-day activities, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
May assist with prompt engineering and generative AI tasks such as application development and data chunking.
May assist with creating low-code workflows in ServiceNow
May assist with implementing new functionality in ServiceNow or Microsoft PowerApps

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of IT concepts, including application development, project planning, and data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Prior internship experience in IT or related field.
Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Microsoft Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
Knowledge of Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
Experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., prompt engineering, data chunking, and embedding).
Pay Range:$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
