Front of House Manager
The FOH Manager works with the General Manager to provide exceptional
customer service. The right candidate will lead FOH staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment to
ensure a seamless culinary experience for our guests. Manages FOH staff which includes
scheduling, training, and general supervision.
The right candidate will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production,
productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. You’ll oversee the dining room, check-in with
customers and balance seating capacity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Continuously checking on tables and getting to know guests
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Organize and supervise shifts
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Oversees opening and closing tasks and balances daily and nightly cash drawers.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a restaurant worker with some management in the hospitality business or service industry would be a plus.
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
