Position SummaryAct as a liaison between the customer and the field service team to ensure appropriate scheduling and deployment of team members in order to meet contractual obligations. Reacts in a timely manner to customer requests ensuring excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule the field service team to ensure efficient and profitable utilization for machine installations, general repair and maintenance and /or warranty service calls.Coordinate the activities and provide direction for the field service team and their assigned projects and or service jobs.Ensure that the field service team has necessary resources including documentation and specialty tools needed for modification, machine installation and customer service appointments.Prepare estimates for the customer.Track estimates and follow up with customers on offers.Create workbooks for the field service team.Review field service reports and follow up on necessary actions for customer.Manage and organize field service data on the network.Maintain operational reference documents such as work visa status and tool calibration logsReport gaps in productivity to support the achievement of the annual team budget.Collaborate as needed with Company colleagues to ensure proper invoicing.Represent department on cross-functional teams or projects throughout the organization.Provide process improvements to the department.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
