Sort material by size and grade, using tape measure or caliper to verify size. Lift bundle from rack using the forklift. If the rack does not release, use a piece of metal bar to release the rack. Cut shrink wrap on bundles; use forklift and order selector to move bars to racks/floor, changing cylinder as needed; move bars in racks as needed to allocate space for additional bars.
Locate and pull material based on work orders. Document on work order.
Load/unload trucks
Participate/attend team meetings
Maintain a safe, clean work environment which is free of hazards through use of good housekeeping techniques and following safety guidelines.
The essential functions of this role include:
