The Technician performs samplings in support of analytical testing for the Food Chemistry and Environmental sections.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform samplings for the Food Chemistry and/or Environmental sections, occasionally in confined spaces, following standard operating procedures.Perform compositing of samples for Food Chemistry testing.Maintain sampling equipment, including performing checks and calibrations.Perform testing in the laboratory as directed by the Analytical Chemistry Operations Manager, including Fat, Moisture, Ash, Titrations, Protein, Allergens or other tests as required.Perform sampling, including drilling meat samples and collecting for lab analysisMaintain neat and accurate records.Perform sample disposal following standard operating procedures.Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.Performs other duties as assigned.
