Position Overview:
As a Journeyman Plumber with Gerald Nell Inc, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. You will work on a variety of plumbing systems, ensuring they meet all local codes and regulations, and deliver excellent customer service throughout your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water systems in commercial and Industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing solutions in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining work performed, and offering maintenance advice.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and job completion details.
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman plumber.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations in Wisconsin.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial and industrial plumbing installations.
Familiarity with the latest plumbing tools and technologies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
