Key Responsibilities:
Prepare flooring for sanding and refinishing, including assessing the current condition and performing any necessary repairs.
Operate sanding equipment to remove old finishes and smooth surfaces.
Apply stains, finishes, and sealants according to manufacturer instructions and customer preferences.
Ensure all projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within the allocated timeframe.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice and recommendations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materials.
Flooring Installer Requirements:
Prior experience as a hardwood flooring refinisher is needed.
Valid driver's license is preferable. Must be able to get to the Pewaukee office.
Ability to sand/refinish all types of flooring with minimal supervision.
Capable of independent and group work.
Thorough and efficient.
Physically fit and able to lift large, heavy equipment and materials.
