CNC/Secondary Machine Operator
BRELIE GEAR COMPANY in Waukesha is looking for a mechanically inclined individual for our CNC Machining and Secondary Operations Department. As Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating our CNC Machines, honing, broaching, drilling, tapping, reaming and sanding parts as well as operating the saw. Fork-truck experience is a plus but not required. Some previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred. Full or Part-time, 1st shift position, Monday thru Thursday 6am until 3pm and Friday 6am until noon. Pay starts from $18.00/hour depending on experience, paid weekly.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Review work assignments, verify parts match with shop router and part print
Operate CNC Turning and Milling Machines
Perform secondary operation as assigned following established procedures
Verify sizes using gauges, calipers and micrometers
Select, change and install proper tooling for each operation
Select correct material and size for sawing operation while following all safety procedures
Enter all production information into the data collection system for each job assignment
Responsible for keeping work area clean at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Dependable and reliable
Mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills, shop math and blueprint reading skills a plus
Able to work independently and within a team
Strong written and oral skills and the ability to communicate clearly
Manual dexterity, able to sit, stand for most of your shift, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, lift, push or pull 40 lbs.
