We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and everyday users. We're looking for enthusiastic and patient Technology Technicians to join our team.
What You'll Do:
As a Smart Device Technology Technician, you will be the friendly face and expert guide for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting one-on-one, in-person, or remote (if applicable) sessions with clients to assist with smart device setup and operation.
Guiding clients through initial device activation, account setup, and personalization.
Teaching clients how to navigate device interfaces, apps, settings, and features (e.g., calling, texting, email, internet Browse, photos, video calls, security settings).
Troubleshooting common software and basic connectivity issues.
Explaining technical concepts clearly and patiently, adapting your teaching style to individual client needs and learning speeds.
Providing ongoing support and answering client questions in an understandable manner.
Maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional demeanor at all times.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest smart device technology and operating system updates.
What We're Looking For:
Strong Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of various smartphones (iOS and Android), tablets, and potentially other smart home devices.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical information in clear, simple, and non-technical language.
Patience & Empathy: A genuine desire to help others learn and overcome technological challenges, with the ability to remain calm and supportive.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve common device and software issues effectively.
Customer Service Excellence: A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
Reliability & Punctuality: Strong time management and organizational skills.
Adaptability: Comfortable working with clients of all ages and technical proficiency levels.
Required: Driver's License & Reliable Transportation.
If on-site visits are part of the role:
Background Checks will be required
Bonus Points If You Have:
Previous experience in technical support, tutoring, or teaching.
Certifications related to mobile technology or operating systems.
