Kontney Computer Group is expanding. We are looking to expand our Residential Services team. Please review the description below.
Duties: In office bench work, such as Data Migration, Data Recovery, Light Tune-up, MFC Printer Setup, Password Reset, Router Configuration, Reload PC or Laptop, Smart Phone E-Mail Setup, Turn-Key PC or Laptop deployments and Virus Cleanup. Blend of Field work and in office bench service work. Field assessments too. Answer Phone, remote control support. Residential work primarily. Assess customer needs and sell services to fulfill those needs. Lead junior engineers to learn and grow.
Skills: Full Residential Services skills. Install Windows, configure routers and other peripherals, update drivers, move data. Work with customers to asses needs and sell computer services.
Technical Requirements: 2-4 Year Experience or Technical Certificate or Degree in IS/IT. A+ Certified, comfortable with Networking. Working knowledge of Windows based operating systems and applications. Must be pro-Microsoft.
Personal Skills/Customer Interaction: In office meetings and services. Solo field service work, full residential services suite deployment and engineering. Service the general Residential Client Base. Displays ability to retain knowledge on procedures and approach to technical issues. Mentors junior engineers to become more efficient and skilled. Must be personable and willing to communicate clearly technical issues that clients may experience.
Development Path: From Residential Services III you will be transitioned into Field Services I based on IT skills, attack level, sales engineer level, personality and spirit towards services offered. Extra incentives apply to upper-band engineers.
Experience as an engineer at Best Buy Geek Squad, Milwaukee PC, iNet, etc. is a plus
We are a Pro-Microsoft IT consulting group that seeks Engineers that are also Pro-Microsoft or at least acceptable of Microsoft.
