Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in technical field of study
5 years of quality experience within a durable goods manufacturing environment
Experience managing a IS0 9001 quality system
Extensive six sigma training, belt certification preferred

Responsibilities:
Leads the SOLERS Quality Management System and ISO certification
Evaluates processes and procedures for critical to quality parameters and ensure conformance to standards
Reports on key performance indicators such as CoQ, DPPM, RMAs, Supplier quality, Skill development and certification.
Conducts supplier qualification and certification
Leads Asaichi defect analysis and process improvement initiatives
Leads Kaizen and Six Sigma events
Ensure employees are trained to IPC standards and documented
Manages validation and approval of customer’s PPAP requirements
Analyzes work instructions to ensure critical to quality elements are clearly identified and communicated
Provides monthly progress reports on lean and six sigma initiatives
Engages with customer to resolve quality spills
Leads the material return authorization process and accounts for all costs
Manages company calibration program
Fulfills tasks associated with new product introduction and revision control
Interfaces and collaborates with Quality Managers from other SOLERS operations
Collects and shares best practices with SOLERS corporate personnel
Develops, manages and coaches direct reports via SOLERS performance review process
