2nd Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor for a manufacturing company in the Franklin, WI area.

Performs all required operations to process parts through electroplating operations on assigned shift.

Specific Functions:

Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment as well as the safety of all personnel on assigned shift.

Responsible for directing and controlling the hourly work force on assigned shift.

Responsible for sustaining the proper staffing of hourly workers and reporting staffing requirements to the Production Manager for assigned shift.

Regulates current in-put and plating time to obtain desired thickness of plate.

Work with formula and specifications from the work order.

Use testing and measuring instruments incidental to operations and the parts being plated to assure quality within customers specifications.

Complete all the paperwork necessary and incidental to the plating operation.

Responsible for housekeeping of entire plant during the shift.

Perform other functions incidental to the plating operation such as cleaning of tanks, repairing racks, minor maintenance of equipment, or other duties as assigned by the Production ,Manager.

Shift Hours:

Monday-Friday 4:00pm to 12:30am

Education/Training Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent education with strong basic math skills and ability to handle precision measuring equipment. Must be able to read basic instructions and mechanical drawings. Requires some additional training in supervisory management.

Experience Required:

Supervisory experience required.

Has worked 2nd Shift before.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, sometimes in difficult work positions. Requires a lot of stooping and bending along with good hand/eye coordination.

Work Environment:

Exposure to'chrome and nickel plating solutions and variations of temperature.

Protective Equipment Needed:

Safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields and appropriate protective gloves.

At times may need protective clothing, protective boots, masks and/or protective goggles or shields. May need ear plugs and dust masks on occasion.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for the direction and control of all personnel on assigned shift.
